(JACKSON, Miss.) – The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), through its Beach Monitoring Program, lifted water contact advisories Wednesday for sampling station 5 (Pass Christian West Beach) and sampling station 10 (Gulfport Central Beach). There are currently no advisories in effect across the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
MDEQ Lifts Two Water Contact Advisories
The advisories are lifted for:
►Station 5 -- Pass Christian West Beach -- the extent is from Fort Henry Ave. east to Elliot St.
►Station 10 -- Gulfport Central Beach -- one quarter mile east of Oak Ave. -- the extent is from Alfonso Dr. east to Arkansas Ave.
