BEACH ADVISORY LIFTED IN HANCOCK COUNTY
(JACKSON, Miss.) -- The Mississippi Department of Environmental
Quality(MDEQ), through its Beach Monitoring Program, has
lifted an advisory previously issued February 19 a location in Hancock County. The following location is no longer
under advisory:
*Station 3 -- which is located near Vacation Lane in Waveland.
The Gulf Coast Research Laboratory, which performs water sampling
of the Mississippi Gulf Coast beaches for MDEQ, notifies the agency
when an area has returned to acceptable levels. For more information
